Transitions® Adaptive Shield:
I’m sure we’ve all experienced coming out of a long dark tunnel only to be blinded by the sun after emerging from the other side.
If you in a car, simple, you just put your glasses on. But in a bikers world it’s a lot less simple. Sure some helmets offer an internal sunshield, but you have to remove your hands from the bars to drop it down, and you may not be in the best position to operate with only one hand when this blinding change occurs.
Well, Bell had another solution in mind when they outfitted their Qualifier with a Transitions® Adaptive Shield. A shield that automatically darkens when in sunlight, and clears up as the light fades.
Three shell sizes:
The Bell Qualifier DLX is manufactured with the overall helmet size in mind. Instead of using the same large shell and just using different cheek pads and calling it a smaller size, Bell made sure that riders that need a smaller size will actually get a smaller shell to go with it.
The Qualifier DLX is offered in Small shell that covers XS to SM head sizes. A medium shell that covers medium to large head sizes. And A Large shell that covers the XL and 2XL size range..
