Sena FreeWire System for Honda Gold Wing

REMOVE ALL RESTRAINTS FROM YOUR RIDE

Hear your bike the way it was meant to be heard: Wirelessly

The FreeWire is both a Harley Bluetooth adapter and a Honda® Bluetooth adapter allowing for wireless connectivity to the bike’s infotainment systems. Wirelessly communicate via CB radio, hear turn-by-turn directions from the GPS system, rock out to your favorite radio stations and so much more all through your Bluetooth headset. Use an additional FreeWire for your passenger to talk over the motorcycle’s internal intercom system – All with the wireless freedom you’ve been longing for.

ENHANCE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH SENA

Listen to your bike through the 20S and take advantage of even more incredible audio capabilities from Sena

Thanks to the FreeWire, the Bluetooth adapter for Harley-Davidson® and Honda® Gold Wing® motorcycles, you can wirelessly connect to your infotainment system while also being able to utilize the various capabilities of the Sena 20S or 10S Bluetooth headset.

APPLY ALL OF YOUR ACCESSORIES WITH EASE

Use the AUX import to hear additional inputs alongside your bike

The FreeWire motorcycle Bluetooth adapter also has a 3.5mm AUX port which allows you to directly plug in additional accessories such as a GPS device, radar detector, non-Bluetooth MP3 player and more – allowing you to hear them alongside the motorcycle’s infotainment system through your Bluetooth headset speakers.

STAY CHARGED AND SECURE

Easily accessible mounting and charging accessories make your ride worry free

The FreeWire comes with two different mounting accessories, a handlebar mounting kit as well as a mounting cradle for on the bike itself, to conveniently secure the device during your ride. The unit automatically powers on/off with your motorcycle’s engine for maximum convenience, and for longer rides you can easily charge your FreeWire while using it with the included cigarette charger or Sena Powerbank. Sena Freewire
So far I am pleased with this Sena Freewire. I’m using it on a 1989 Goldwing, I install a lighter outlet to plug the Freewire into & connected to the bikes headset cord. Unit comes on as soon as key is turned on & my Sena 50S headset pairs automatically with it. Tunes are ok, a little less output then from bikes speakers. So far i can’t get the CB to come through headset but could be some corrosion in bikes connectors yet. Transmit seems to work fine.

Good product!
Operation is Complicated but works well with the bike once you watch the YouTube Sena videos. Keep in mind you need two freewire if you want your passenger to be able to use the bike functions. Overall a very good product.

Sena FreeWire for Gold Wing
Allows single use Bluetooth between bike and user. Works as advertised. I give it a 4 rating for two reasons: The volume level on the bike has to be turned way up (20+ with headset maxed) to get acceptable clarity while riding, and the company should offer a dual user unit if possible. I left the unit on the bike and it rained 2 nights. After drying off, I fired it up with only left channel audio but after it fully dried out in the wind the right channel came back. Considering a 2nd unit for the wife.

Finally I have freedom with FreeWire
This device works exactly as described. I no longer need that tether binding me to the bike. 2Wheel gave me the best price anywhere and it arrived a day earlier than promised. I could not be more pleased.

Questions 1 - 3 of 3
Is it water proof?
Curtis • Oct 3, 2021
Best Answer: Hello, These systems are water resistant so heavy rain will not affect it it is just not water proof in that you can submerge it fully under water for a period of time. Regards, 2wheel.com

My Helmets both have Sena 20s units. Do I need a separate Freewire adapter for each Helmet to work and communicate with each other?
Jerry • Jul 19, 2019
Best Answer: I only purchased one but I don't believe you need another freewire unit unless the passenger wants to use a cell phone separately or listen to a different source for music. Otherwise, you can use like an intercom too.

/Will the freewire unit pair with a non motorcycle specific gps?
biglefti • Jul 19, 2019
Best Answer: To answer your question, This unit only acts as a Bluetooth transmitter, but can not do a relay system via Bluetooth. To use the external GPS navigation, you would have to plug an Aux cable from the GPS headphone jack into the FreeWire's Aux in port in order to hear it along side it's normal functions from your Harley or Goldwing.
