Really disappointed. Loud and cheap.
I had high hopes for this helmet. I was looking for a smart solution that incorporates a quality camera and BT in one but am disappointed with the quality. Starting with the shell, this helmet is a $100-200 range and I wasn't expecting that. Poor air flow channels, very very loud, much louder than my Scorpion EXO-500. Speakers also sound worse than my other Sena ones. Camera doesn't have image stabilization so it's very shaky and poor quality. And finally the shield is BEYOND CHEAP. It's very flimsy to open/close it with too few points in between open/closed. This is Sena's first iteration of the helmet so hopefully their next version will improve on all these factors. I wish the helmet itself (without tech) was the same quality of a Shoei RF-1200. If it were and that made this helmet cost $900~ I would buy it. I would rather pay more $ for top quality across the board over this. I don't recommend this helmet to anyone. At this point I wish I went with a RF-1200 or GT-Air 2 and added my own Sena BT and GoPro. Only reason I kept it is because I special ordered the Pinlock ProtecTINT that transitions the shield from clear to light smoke.
