Drag Specialties Predator Iii Seat

Of all the components on your motorcycle, the seat can make the biggest difference in your rider experience. If you can get the seat right, a lot of other aspects of your bike will fall into place. A quality seat plays a big role in keeping you comfortable and safe. However, no one wants to blow an entire budget on a seat and have nothing left to customize the rest of the bike. For a great balance of quality and price, the Drag Specialties Predator 3 seat stands out.

Plenty of Grip

One crucial characteristic of any motorcycle seat is the amount of grip it offers. You don't want your Predator 3 seat to let you slip and slide when you're taking high-speed turns on your motorcycle. At the same time, you don't want the level of grip to be so great that it's difficult to get on and off your bike.

To provide a good balance, textured vinyl works well for a motorcycle seat. Vinyl is great because the material can be carefully designed at the factory with microscopic designs that help enhance the grip. In addition, vinyl is durable and can withstand various types of weather.

Plenty of Support

A good seat goes far beyond the material that covers it. The overall design of the seat should provide exceptional support for all types of riders over long distances. That's why the angles at the front and rear of the Drag Specialties Predator 3 are so important; they allow you to properly position your body on your bike to avoid putting excess strain on your back.

Of course, if you have a passenger while you're riding, you want them to have a comfortable ride, too. A well-designed seat should be large enough to be comfortable for the driver while being small enough to provide space for a proper rear seat that can be enjoyed without compromises.

Drag predator III
Looks way better then stock seat. You sit into the bike a lot more, this seat locks you in and you don’t slide around. It didn’t drop me down to the ground as much as I thought it would, I’m 5’5” so I’ll take all I can. Comfort isn’t fully there yet as I’m still breaking it in. I’ve only got about 600 miles in on it since purchasing it. I wish there was a bit more padding for the passenger but the lady doesn’t doesn’t mind it. Overall it’s a good seat

Very happy with the seat. Looked exactly if not better than advertised. The weekend after getting the seat I took a 2 day 800 mile ride with some friends. The seat got many compliments, and was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this seat

Recommended for sure!
Exactly what I wanted and got here fast! I don’t move around nearly as much as I did with the stock seat. This keeps me stable. I have short legs so this was great, but also the i sean is where the ride is more comfortable too. Highly recommend!

Best seat for the money, can easily keep up with saddle men and la pera
It’s such an amazing seat. I choose the smooth finish since the diamond was sold out and I’m super satisfied....
The back support is actually more than it looks like on pictures. I rode a few hundred miles and no more sore butt. Right from the start feels comfortable and holds you right in place for any strong acceleration off the line or while riding. The seat will put you about 1-2 inch higher. The best thing about the seat is the price. Everyone is going for saddle men or la pera, but this is truly the underdog sleeper seat. It will surprise with price around 300$ depending on finish, very comfortable and amazing lumber support. And of course it looks amazing.

Predator 3 seat
I enjoy the back support and how it sits you a little lower on the bike. But idk yet if the seat is made for long rides.

Good seat
Back support is good, cushion is good for longer rides. I'm 6'3" so needless to say i would like to sit back a lot further .but for the most part, if your under 6' you will be very happy with it.
Staff Response: Thank you for the review.

Love the seat, it does fit the 2019 street glide special, and is perfectly compatible with a detachable sissy bar

Much better than I was expecting
I ordered a Le Pera Kickflip for my Electra Glide Standard since I had one on my Dyna and loved it, when I received it, it just didn't feel like it did on my Dyna so I sold it. I came across the Drag Specialties Predator III seat while l was looking for a Saddlemen seat and I really liked the looks of the Predator III seat so I took a chance on it and bought it.
It is a really comfortable and very good looking seat, it holds you in place very well and has been good on long rides. I've been beyond pleased with it so far....the quality is really good as well. I highly recommend this for anyone in the market for this type of seat.

Questions 1 - 3 of 3
I’m 5’8” with fairly short arms. I’m looking for a seat to put me a bit closer to my bars and controls. Would this seat be a good choice for me?? I’ve tried 3 seats so far and my lower back still aches after a 300 mile trip. Thoughts?? Thanx in advance
